Lake Jipe - an der Grenze zu Tansania - liegt 35 km südlich von Taveta und gehört nur zur Hälfte zu Kenia, das südöstliche Ufer liegt im Tsavo West Park. Die Bewohner leben an den flachen Ufern des Sees und leben vom Fischfang. Die Landschaft ist wunderschön.

Lake Jipe - at the borderline to Tanzania - is situated 35 km southly from Taveta, only the half part of the sea belongs to Kenya, the southeast shore belongs to the Tsavo West Park. The people of the flat shores are fishermen. The landscape ist very beautiful.
